3:10 To Yuma, go see it please.

Just got back, great movie. I was really surprised by it. Not very often that the remake is better then the original. I’m a fan of the original, but I believe this version really outshined it. At least go see it to see Christian Bale and Russell Crowe’s chemistry together, fantastic performances from both. I want to see Shoot Em Up as well, but I’ll probably end up waiting until DVD on that, high probability of cheese on that one.

Isn't the high probability of cheese the point of Shoot Em Up.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

3:10 to Yuma is surprisingly good. And this is from somone who doesn't really like westerns.

Heed Chrono's advice, go see it.

I thought the first act was really lame and really boring, and I was very uninterested.

Though it does really pick up in the second act. Christian Bale and Russel Crowe definitely do have some really good chemistry in this movie. Though Russel Crowe's little wannabe gay lover, is maybe the most annoying character ever.

I've never seen the original, but I give it like a 7/10.

the acting was fine, but it had gi-joe-too-many-bullets-miss-syndrome, and i didn't care for the ending.

kinda meh overall, i was hoping for better.
