Yes, yes I am. After all the ******* and moaning I did about not drawing anime, I stooped and reverted back to my old style for a picture. :( I drew it as a "I know I'm not going to like this, but dammit I'm going to finish it picture" and ended up liking it.

No name, no story, but she's cute and the thing around her neck is a Piyo-Piyo computer that makes no sense just looks like an anime chick. :( Working on smaller waist tho, her boobs and hips arn't NEARLY big enough. Edit- And my proportions are crap. I know this. As I said, this was a "I don't care picture"

Not bad. The hips seem fine. The expression on the face looks a little blank, but since you weren't intending this to be great I guess it's not a problem then.
The accessories and design on the pants look good though. :D

I'm terrible at proportions too. I end up making limbs too short. Rena helped me out quite a bit on that.

Oh yeah, you draw that anime chick, you draw her good and hard.

I really like the arms and hands. Your art is improving!

It has a Sailor Moon quality to it. It radiates with enthusiasm. Brilliantly done!
Oh, by the way, how's your Demowalker comic coming along? I'm dying to see more of that!
And you should Photoshop this pic, too!

It's looks like a combination of Sailor Moon and Bratz to me. Yet somehow I don't have the urge to vomit. :thumbs

Some of my best drawings were in middle school. I'm better now, but I lack the imagination or care.
My only problem is really the torso. The extremeties look pretty good.

My only problem is that she's wearing pants. This should be rectified immediately.

If you were to try and publish a graphic novel like this I think I would be very sucessfull.
This particular style is pretty popular right now.
I would say inspired by bratz...Get Inspired by Disney moar. Just get a few rilly rilly cheap disney coloring books and see how their artists do it.

Yeah, I thought about trying to do a bratz style, but didn't want too. I then read somewhere about some sort of anime style called "Moe" or something like that with really big-eyed girls. Honestly, this was going to be just something with horrible proportions that would look kinda cool like Incredibles. I have done a bit more working on her torso, and it does look better, and her hips now match. The picture still looks like crap upon flipping it to check for mistakes, but I don't care. It's a whatever picture anyways.

The top half of her legs are longer than the bottom half. I think they're supposed to be the same length.
I see it as the other way around...that the bottom half of her legs are longer than the top half.
I think if you worked out the proportions, it'd be great. Just try drawing the body with basic shapes first (circles and sausages is the usual routine) to figure out the pose and proportions before you go into detail. What I've been doing relatively frequently these days is drawing basic shapes for the figure first, then taking another piece of paper to draw the actual character on top (through use of a light box, which is handy for this sort of thing), but I only do that so I don't have to erase the underdrawing while I fill in more detail.
That said, I do like all the gadgetry, and the hands look very nice.

^_^ Hee, you guys have seen through my disguise. As I said before, it's not my normal style, but just some bull**** I decided I wanted to mess with. I did start with the basic shapes, but ran out of room on the paper, so just did the amature thing and forced it to fit. And for doing better, I know I can do better, just not going to with this picture. :P It's just something to pass the time while the litle ones at work are taking their nap. Funny enough, though, I hate the hands. I can't stand the style and prefer to draw the full figured hands. I think the main reason I am continuing to play with this one is that I am having fun with the gadetry. :P Thanks for the advice on this tho, :D I may try and actually draw this character in my own style.
I almost want to make her a hentai type character. I'm so messed up..:P

Strange, I like the hands so much because they give away the form with minimal definition. It's always nice to see a drawing get away with a 'less is more' mentality with regard to line work. But hey, if it doesn't suit your tastes... :p

Good drawing. I think you need a little more work on the feet.
