I saw it and liked it a lot. I like that it's not just a shot-for-shot carbon copy of the original. It has its share of less than stellar moments, but over all I enjoyed it for what it was--a Rob Zombie movie.

Little Mikey does some effed up stuff.

I liked Lil' Mikey's "battle cry" The wierd grunting. I love all the nods to the original franchise too like the ghost outfit, the Clown outfit. etc etc.

I didn't see it for many reasons, one of which was that I wasn't down with the idea of demystifying Michael Myers. There's a beauty in the original that his madness isn't really explored or explained. It lends a lot more weight to the final question that Laurie asks. By exploring how he became what he is, I think you lose a lot of the levels that question contained.

Given the masterpiece that The Devil's Rejects was, I feel inclined to see this.

His "schtick" Is that he loves masks. When lil mikey is growing up in the nut house he makes paper mache masks and stuff. He does wear the classic one eventually but before that he runs around looking like a KoRn Reject.

I heard that movie was just gross, not scary.

I didn't think it was either. I perceived it as a comedy.

It's just messed up. It's demented the things that Otis, that chick, and Captain Spaulding do to people.
