    Asperger's Syndrome

I suppose it's a bit of a personal question, but does anyone here on the board here have this disorder? If you do, would you mind answering some questions for me? Actually, even if you know someone who has it could you answer some questions for me?

    Info on it:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger_syndrome
    http://www.udel.edu/bkirby/asperger/aswhatisit.html

A book starring a character with the disorder:

Let me guess: you're worried you should be diagnosed with it.

      By no means.

Edit- Besides that, I'm knowledge enough in Psychology to know if I'm autistic or not. This is strictly to help me better understand the disorder. If someone doesn't want to disclose they have it publicly, could you please send me a message at least? I would greatly appreciate it if someone would answer my questions.

I do, so I'm told. Means nothing to me, really.

I want to know something about the disorder that reading a textbook can't quite help me with.

Really? Have you ever been diagnosed by a Psychologist/Psychiatrist with the disorder?

EDIT - Sorry for the double post.

my cousin was diagnosed with asperger's. she didn't seem all that different to me though, just antisocial is all. she was kind of emo too, but i dun think that's related. she never talked about funny lights or sounds, wore normal clothes. idunno, maybe it was a misdiagnosis, or just another made-up "condition" like ADD.

Oh heavens no, Asperger's syndrome is not made up by any means.

Edit- Did she hate to be touched? Was she very good at logical thinking such as math or various sciences?

That describes me kind well. And yes, I was diagnosed... I think, I wasn't there at the time.

Aznable has it. Or Blaze. One of them. Or maybe both.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

                        Do you hate metaphors?

Is it easier to understand people's emotions over the internet with text than having to talk face to face with them?

Can you handle large crows or is it hard to deal with all the information?

Can you tell a lie easily or is it difficult?

Alright thank you, I'm trying to understand if it's an isolated thing with Aperger's syndrome or not, I've heard cases of some people abhorring metaphors because their minds have trouble thinking of multiple meanings in words. I've always heard cases of people being unable to lie because their brain sort to starts to imagine ALL the things that didn't happen at it's hard to stop it once it gets off course. I know in Asperger's syndrome you're supposed to have trouble recognizing facial expressions and I was just wondering if text allowed you to interpret people's feelings easier.

(i have a problem with very large birds of any species)

i can't say if she hated to be touched, but she was often finding a comfotable corner and just watching everyone else. i tried to kind of include her, but she seemed defensive, so i gave her her space.
