Finally I can use my computer again. For around 2 months now my computer started acting up. I thought it was a software issue or somthing. So for around a month and a half I thought I did everything to try and fix it.
2 weeks ago I was just getting "Disk Read Error". Having to post everything from my Wii (ugh.)
So finally I encounter TTC in chat. Behold he knew the problem was my harddrive almost right away.
So to troubleshoot this I take out my harddrive and my mothers harddrive (we have the same laptop) so it was an easy swap. Turns out my harddrive was a Toshiba while hers was a Western Digital. Mine was buit by half-wits that didn't know how to turn a screwdriver (3 of the 4 screws where near falling out the other took pliers to get off) took me a long time to just get it out. I easily pop my mothers out and switch them.
Of course it worked like a charm.
So on the same day (yesterday) I ordered the same HD and it came today. pop it in and it's perfect.
Yeah. Thanks TTC I really appreciate the help. Spent $85 instead of $1000+ for a new laptop.
No more WiiMote posting for me anymore.
Now what to smash my old HD with?
