This teased me with a "wtf was that" mood.

The main thing to learn from the teaser is the protagonist is a soldier, meaning he's the first SH character with combat experience. They've made a point to use average people who couldn't shoot very straight or run long without getting tired, etc. So expect more action/gunplay than the previous games.

Unless he was a crappy soldier. And I seem to recall finding that out months ago.

Even the crappiest soldier in the world can shoot better than Harry or James ever could. And I believe there's still entire weeks of basic training devoted to close quarters "board with a nail" combat.

What? James could shoot in the dark from a good distance and still knock everything down. They made him too good of a shooter.

I'm mostly thinking of Harry. It's been a really long time since I played SH2. I didn't mention Heather or Henry because I haven't really played SH3 & 4 at all.
