    RPG Maker 1

I'm curious as to whether there are any people who actually still use the first RPG maker for PS1. It's the only RPG maker I have and I can't get the version for Windows since I only have Macs. I use it on my PSP these days.

There are several of us who use RPGM1. It's certainly not dead, yet.

I do, I've only had a PS2 for a few months and don't have a copy of RPGM 2 or 3. And I also want to make sure I get a keyboard and some sort of file transfer device as well to maximize use of the game.

You can't use a keyboard for RPGM1, to the best of my knowlege.

            Indeed, no keyboard.

But there's a few people who use 1, myself included.

I'm talking about using the keyboard for RPGM2, not RPGM 1. Entering text with the controller is clunky, so if I get one of the PS2 games (and RPGM2 looks more like what I want), I'd like to have a keybaord to make text entry easier.

I still use RPG Maker 1. I'm more familiar with it then 2 and 3.

                    Re: RPG Maker 1

Since I got a PS3 I've been meaning to do a few things with RPGM1, including enhancing Omegablade Saga (Both the balance and dialogue), working on the rest of that series, and playing the games Valk has converted to PS3 format.

The Dex Drive will only become more rare as time goes by, but, assuming the 80 GB PS3 doesn't have issues with it, RPGM1 will be far from dead.
