    A game idea

Whenever I play games, or watch a movie, I easily get drawn into it. I'm sure you know what I mean, when you are in the action rather than watching it, or feeling for the characters.

That's the kind of game I would want to make. Where the player cares for the character. So, I've had this game idea for a while, to try it out.

You play as a teenage girl stranded on a deserted island. It would play out more like a movie or a book, but you'd be able to control her actions. As you play more you get to learn more about her and her past.

Thinking about putting this on rpgm3, since it's graphics are a bit more lifelike.

I like this idea a lot. It reminds me a little of Myst (one of my favorite PS1 games).

From the description is seems like this is a kind of game without any battles at all. Is that correct?

Having another good RPGM3 game to play is always more than welcome. I'm sure you can make a great looking island in the editor with a little practice.

Yes, the idea is no battles. Doesn't mean it will be boring, however. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Great, now I'm starting to sound like the awful Lost. I hope you get the idea, anyway.

Wow! I'd love to play a game like that!

I can't believe no one ever thought to create a game where there are characters that people care about.

A game series like this has already been made. It's called Lost in Blue.

Not that it's a bad idea to make a game like this for RPGM3.

Indeed, but I found lost in blue to be too much of a hassle. Rather than doing something fun or exploring, you had to focus far too much on survival, which wasn't very fun.

This is kinda my idea with Torayu...though the plot hasn't really advanced much. (=3
But basicially it's an exploration game more than anything. There's one battle that is just an different way to check for items (that is, skill is nothing, it's decided by your equipment.) I'm interested to see how the desert island theme goes though.

I think that's awesome. Video games are an art form, I say!
