Looking for video game character gifs(icons, pictures, animated, whatever)

I'm working on a project, and need to try and find some vg character gifs (i'd prefer not to have to pull them from an emulator and...well, you know).

I know there used to be some websites where i could find them, but for the life of me i cant find them today.

Thanks, but its not what i'm looking for. There used to be a website where i could download vg character gifs from tons of games, like Mega man, Breath of Fire, SMB, etc.
