    Reality TV

People are always talking about how much reality TV sucks and a vast majority of it certainly does. But are there any reality shows you like? Any that you would like to be on? Or if none that are out there interest you, what would you make as the only good reality show?

I think it'd be fun to be on Who Wants to be a Superhero? It's one of the few entertaining reality shows. Also I wouldn't mind being on The Real World. It's a stupid show but it'd be a good way for me to force myself to be more social and comfortable around people I don't know.

I actually liked watching Who Wants To Be A Super Hero.
Though my only problem with that would be the possibility of just giving up the rights of the character you make to Marvel. I dunno how the legal stuff works.

Was the comic of the first winner already out? Curious how cheesy it is.

The Feedback comic was released by Dark Horse Comics as a "one-shot" publication under the Who Wants to Be a Superhero? title, officially dated July 4, 2007. The character's story in the comic differs from Feedback's "official" origin (above) in several respects, most notably that "Matt" (the only "civilian" name given for the character in the comic) is struck by lightning while holding a high-tech game controller of his own invention. The character's powers also resemble general electrical powers more than anti-technology "feedback," and no use of "game energy" is ever mentioned.
And he'll be in the Sci-Fi movie Mega Snake. That ought to be delightfully cheesy.

The thing about reality tv is that it can suck you in. I generally don't watch it unless your counting stuff on Disc, but one of my old roommates was into Project Runway and you find yourself watching them to see what happens in all the various plot points. Or because you love to hate certain people. That's what always happens to me.

America's Got Talent, and On the Lot. Very entertaining stuff.

There's also Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?, Don't Forget the Lyrics (not to be confused with The Singing Bee, which pales in comparison IMO), and Deal or No Deal (I'm just waiting for somebody to finally win the million).

                  Re: Reality TV

I actually caught a little bit of On The Lot during the final episode. That does seem like a really cool show, but that's because of the actual movies and not any of the reality portion. One of the biggest annoyances with reality TV and gameshows is the forced suspension.

I'm gonna jump in ahead of Mora and say the whole lot of it sucks.

Except the one with Flava Flav, because, as we all should know, Flava Flav's in everything you eat, because everything you eat's got flavor.

I like(d) Public Enemy, and I read about his drug problems, and I applaud him for overcoming, but he gets back into the limelight with this crap???

Oh, and disregard everything I have to say on the subject of the topic at hand, because the only reality show I ever even watched EVER was like Season 2 of Road Rules.

Oh, and for anyone who ever wanted to see a well-done spoof of/social commentary on reality TV that's utterly implausible, but f***ing reality to the max, I urge you to SEE THIS MOVIE. The project was first conceived when the "reality" genre was still in its infancy, and is as if not more relelvant today than when it was made. I don't like to type words that are negated by the swear filter very often, but do me a favor. SEE THIS FILM. It's f***ing brilliant.

Oh, and yes....the name of my games and studio was inspired by the title of this film....I just don't know what I'm gonna do if I actually get all the way up to needing to use Series 7....heh.

If they do than I nominate Ninja Warrior and Human Weapon.

Also, I watch way too much Hell's Kitchen.

I liked the first couple seasons of The Apprentice and Hell's Kitchen, but lately I'm having a hard time getting into them.

Treasure Hunters was a kind of interesting show.

I got the first half of season 2 of Ghost Hunters and liked it, though it was dissappointing how little supernatural stuff the really found.

I wonder why they had trouble finding supernatural stuff...

I don't watch reality shows because 99% of them aren't reality shows, if you get my drift.
