Have you ever had trouble finding a game?

    Well, I did.

I practically drove all over the entire state of California trying to find Fatal Fury Battle Archives today for the PS2. Well, the websites say it was supposed to have been released. So I drive all around to every GameStop I know of, and none of them have it in stock. Grrrrrr!

I didn't think about ordering it online because my initial excitement for the game (and the fact that it's only $14.99) was too overwhelming, and I didn't want to wait to get it home. Ultimately, I was left with little choice but to order it online from another state. I think it was from Minnesota or something.

With shipping and handling, it cost me $21.64, not the $15.00 I was hoping to pay. Well, at least I was able to find it.

Was there ever a game you wanted but had trouble finding it?

Yes I have, that is kind of why they are rare.

      Jamos beat me to it.

I don't take risks with games I want. If I think it's gonna be rare, I make sure I pre-order it.

It's a problem I have sometimes. I take too many chances with games I think will be easy to locate. I'm too lazy to reserve stuff.

You would think you can find something like Fatal Fury Battle Archives on the day of its release, but I couldn't find one in stock.

I suppose the rare games are the really good ones.

EDIT: Made a title change to the thread--I realized I made an oxymoron.

I just pre-ordered the new Growlanser game. Now instead the 11th they say it's going to be on the 18th.

It's limited edition and will only go through 1 print.

I found the last remaining copy of Suikdeon II in all of New York. It's still unbeaten.

And MGS3 Subsistence Limited Edition. I never got it. I believe only two copies were printed.

              **** rare games.

"Well, it's not a bike, honey, but a sky cycle. There are only two sky cycles in the world, and I own them both. Well, there's three, but the third one's in the bottom of the Snake River Canyon."

                  I still can't find a copy of Everblue 2.

Uncharted Waters 2 is probably the most rare game I've looked for. I think now I can get it for SNES for $70 on Ebay, but I know as soon as I win one, it'll probably come out for $8 on Virtual Console (But not before I'm sure).

                      HA.

I waited until a WEEK BEFORE to pre-order that and I got it! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Bonk's Adventure, Ducktales 2, and Chip and Dale 2 were some of the hardest games I had to find, and they each ended up costing me $30+ to get.

Earthbound. You'd think if it appeared on a used shelf once, it'd appear again.

I've never really had a problem picking up a game on it's release date. Now trying to find a rare game now...

Gamestop sucks on release dates of games that aren't huge titles.
