Re: Michael Vick Sued For 63 Zillion Dollars For Being al Qaeda Operative
I'm sorry, but **** Michael Vick. Any man who uses his fame and wealth to run a DOGFIGHTING ring out of his backyard deserves anything that's coming to him, even if it's a completely nutty lawsuit from some prisoner. If there were any justice in the world, he would have every last dollar that he ever earned taken away from him. Oh, wait, no, that won't work either, cuz then he'd just start FIGHTING ****ING PIT BULLS AGAIN. Of course, nothing will ever come of this, or his dogfighting allegations; Michael Vick will keep playing ball, keep earning ludicrous sums of money every year, and never have to do a damn thing to change himself. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

What are you talking about? He's already lost all of his endorsement deals and has become a PR pariah. His legal bills are being predicted to be in the millions. If he doesn't take a plea agreement he's very likely to go to jail for five years and have his football career be over. If he does take the plea then he's going to loose at least one year to jail time plus whatever the NFL suspends him for, a lifetime suspension isn't out of the question, especially if he admits to any of the gambling charges. Plus, before his lawyers started discussing a plea deal they were talking about adding more charges to the indictment because of information provided by the guys that have already flipped.Michael Vick will keep playing ball, keep earning ludicrous sums of money every year, and never have to do a damn thing to change himself.
AND, even if he does somehow get away without any jail time his playing days in Atlanta are over. And Arthur Blank absolutely loved Michael Vick, if he won't take him back then it's hard to imagine many other teams doing so. Someone probably will just because of his talent on the field but it's going to be a tough pill to swallow to sign Michael Vick.
AND I wouldn't be surprised if the Falcons looked at whether they could take back any of the money they gave to Vick in this last contract.
Michael Vick is ****ed.The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I have to agree with IRC. At best, I doubt we'll be seeing Vick in the NFL for at least 3 years, if not longer. He'll never be able to get anything more than a local endorsement deal, and even that's a long shot.
It doesn't help that even before this all came out you started to have a lot of people saying that he's overrated as a quarterback, and the only thing he can do is run. Just look at Atlanta's record this last few years. Many people before the season were saying that this season would have been Vick's last chance to prove that he's the player people thought he was.
I'm betting Vick will never be a starting quarterback again, and if he does return to the NFL, which I think is unlikely, it'll be as the experienced second- or third-string quarterback.Last edited by Patryn; 08-15-2007, 02:09 PM.
