You all need to play Knytt. It's like 13mb, an hour long -- and completely worth it. It's pretty much the Ico of sidescrollers.

You have no excuse not to play it.

Edit: I'm still kind of in awe at it's grace.

If you're into point-and-click adventures, you should definitely try out the Chzo Mythos (on the 41-50 page). I really enjoyed 5 Days a Stranger, and I've been meaning to play the rest.

I really like Mount & Blade. To bad that you can on get to level 6 before you have to buy it.

Yeah that's the first thing I downloaded. It was pretty amazing. First thing that came to my mind was Shadow of the Colossus. I had to beat it in one sitting.

I need to check out more of these games.

That list is biased dammit. It has crap like Clean Asia, but not Cho Ren Sha 68K, or BURN THE TRASH?

                          That list is so GEH.

two of the replies were about where it should have been posted.

Hey Caciss, remember when we played Battle for Wesnoth? That game was really fun but CHRIST it took forever. My undead hordes would have had their way with you if not for the fact we were on like turn 500 and decided to quit.

Personally I recommend Dungeon Crawl, as long as it's the stone soup version.

Battle of wesnoth would have been amazing if the units did steady damage and not random chance. That's just retarded.
