    Slacker Cats

    Slacker Cats
    Did anybody else watch this?

One of the main duo, Eddie, is a binge drinker that's always trying to get laid. The other is Buckley who is just the boring half of the duo. Tabitha is a mentally ill necrophiliac. There's Dooper the paranoid schizophrenic that's obsessed with Hell. Mrs. Boots who is basically a sassy, back talking Mamie. And two cats who were apparently supposed to be sexy ghetto latinas.

The pilot plot centered around a missed trip to Mexico and ended with Dooper being tricked into impersonating a dead cat by wearing his corpse like a costume and he, Buckley and Eddie almost being cremated. Actually, they were cremated but they put on sunscreen so they survived. Oh and the cat's talk to people. Everybody understands them and that's just normal. I'm not sure if any other animals talk though.

Seriously, what's the deal with ABC Family? Isn't it supposed to be like a wholesome, boring, Seventh Heaven type channel? Yet they make their first animated series and within 5 minutes of the pilot there's mention of porn. But I do think it was a good lead-in for 700 Club.

I was watching Boy Meets World and they showed a commercial that started with something like "some of ABC Family's viewers may find the following inappropriate!"
to me, it just looked like a lot of fart jokes and "look, that cat is drinking! ROFL!" I'll bet the novelty wore off real quick.

Did this show originate from the internet? It looks to me like some lame webcomic that they decided would make a good show just because it was edgy.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

Just find it kind of hypocritical for a Family network to air this type of show and/or post a warning saying it may be offensive. Maybe Comedy Central rejected?

I saw a commercial where the cats were, as the narrator stated, "drinking hard liquor."

I had to laugh, as ABC Family has finally lost their "family-friendly credibility."

It would have been funnier if they used real cats and people.
