Seriously. I haven't played a good one since the 3rd one that I played illegally translated when I was in college. Every time a new one comes out I have friends that are like, "oh, a new Mana game!" Then I ask when the last time they played a good one was, and they say, "oh yeah."

I loved Legend of Mana. Yes it was easy and blah blah blah. I liked the multiple stories though.

That's the only Mana game I've played though.

I have yet to play a good Mana game. I still haven't played "Secret of" yet. The damn thing is like impossible to find and ungodly priced.

Like what's his face said I enjoyed Legend of Man so I don't think it's not like they've got this string of crappy games. I also like Chrystal Chronicals which everyone knows is a Mana game in all but the name.

Correction. Everything after LoM was bad. Sword of Mana, I would say it's the worst game I've ever played.

FF7 = single title in a property/franchise/series

unless you're talking about all the FF7 spin-off stuff thats been annoying the hell out of people for the past two years, then yes, FF7 could be considered a property/franchise/series. and none of those spin-offs come anywhere close to being of any quality, or come anywhere close to living up to the expectations that everyone has for them, since they're based on the most popular RPG in history.

Final Fantasies aren't horrible. FFXII changed my mind about them though.
