    I SPOIL MYSELF

For some reason today I went on a sort of "shopping spree".

Not really. But I did spent ~$1000 bucks on a 32 inch 720 p Samsung LCD HDTV.

Didn't you make a topic awhile back about how broke you were?

We have 32 inch LCD TVs at my work from good manufacturers for less than that, and they go up to 1080i and 1080p....

Where do you work? Wal-Mart? LOL.

I don't remember making a topic about being broke IRC. I am in financial trouble, like, about to get sued for roomates not paying rent and getting evicted kind of financial trouble. But I have a pretty high income. And I don't have to worry about that for a while.

And the TV works great. Even though it makes most of my games look like CRAP.

I'm about to take a shower and put a movie in though. I'd like to see how my normal DVDs look on this thing. I don't need fancy Blu-Ray or HD-DVD. I've got a huge library of DVDs and am not about to convert.

I was watching X3 at best buy being played in Blue Ray. I didn't notice a difference at all between that and a regular DVD.

You arent going to see muh difference with that one, because it was encoded in an older, not as good codec, newer movies, like Happy Feet and others like Planet Earth make a BIG DIFFERENCE.
