Anyone know where I can find:

Anyone know where I can find Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus for a reasonable price? So far all I can find is 80$+, and I'm not willing to shell out that much money for a gamecube game. I only want it for the split screen ability so I can play with some of my friends. Anyone know where I could find it or does any of you guys have it and are willing to sell? Thanks

I suggest getting the PC version. I believe it has split screen as well anyhow. There isn't any more Online for the GCN version.

Hmmm....didn't realize it was going for so much....my buddy bought his for I think $30, and I bought the Xbox version used for $9.00.

Yeah I don't want it for the online (which isn't active anymore), I am looking for it for the split screen. Only the PLUS version has the split screen ability and its only on gamecube as far as i know.

The Xbox version has splitscreen....although, this must be a common misconception, because my buddy thought the same thing when he bought it...

I WILL say, the splitscreen kinda sucks for some of the Episode 2 levels (going through tunnels and stuff), and is horrendous with some bosses (especially the dragon at the end of forest). By "sucks" and "horrendous," I mean the camera is really, really shoddy. Although, if you are playing solo, it's possible to use the splitscreen to transfer items between your own characters, which you obviously could not do in the DC version. Also, I think the GC version only gives you four characters per memory card. The Xbox version gives you four slots, with a maximum of 8 characters per.

Downside: The Xbox version REQUIRES Xbox Live, even if you plan on playing exclusively offline, which was the case with me. And as far as I'm aware (I think I read it on Wikipedia or something), the online server for the Xbox version is still being supported.

Yeah that was the problem with the XBOX version and why I didn't get it; I don't have or want XboxLive
