    oh noes! tornadoes!

I have a kind of illogical fear of tornadoes...we get a lot of funnel clouds here near Chicago lately, but not really any touchdown. We had a few funnel clouds and a tornado warning today. Anyone else have this problem?

I for one have a logical fear of tornados. Because we actually get tornados over here.

A tornado landed close to where I was working, and one of my female employees was scared, but I was having a lot of fun. They don't scare me at all. Neither do earthquakes.

I want to see a tornado. If I die in the process I will still consider my life a success. Perhaps even more so.

My mom told me scare stories of tornadoes she lived through, so I've become terrified of ye olde twister.

I've seen a few of them before, used to live in Iowa. Had stuff destroyed a half mile away before too. Lots of fun stuff.

I loooove tornadoes. I really want to see one some day. Gloom said I have a hard-on for tornadoes but I guess we'll never get one.

Every time we get any kind of storm I always say we're going to get one but we never do.

I know tornadoes kill thousands of people, blah, blah, blah I don't care. Its just something I wanna see before I die.

I'm the same way porkchop. I think tornado chasing would be so exciting, we'll try it one day.

I was also inside a tornado. I was at work and all of a sudden I hear this mexican yell "Tornado"! Well, a really big dust devil maybe, it was pretty cool. It was about 40 ft wide and 100 ft high? It was really weak but it was twirling garbage and dirt around in a circular motion like tornados do. It went over us and strolled out into traffic.

It's really wierd because I seen another one start in the exact same spot a few days earlier, except that one was smaller and more concentrated.

It's not illogical at all Kire. I have the same fear. I mean, growing up in BC, there wasn't a threat of tornadoes because of the mountains. However, I would still have the nightmares of the tunnel in the distance, and the house shaking, and the roof tearing off... all the screaming.......

We had tornadoes within 12 miles tonight while I was at work. It's not a big deal around here. One of the other managers' house got hit, and did some minor damage, but everyone's ok.

The winds blew one of the stoplights into an awkward angle and knocked out some street lights, but again, nothing major. I'd take a picture of the stoplights hanging all crazy, but it's dark because the street lights are out at that intersection...
