Man, I should just start deleting Nash's post in here. When you're posting a picture it should say or mean something. Like how Gouki's said, "Hey man, check out these sweet gloves." If you're picture just says "I'm a jackass who owns a camera." then you probably shouldn't bother posting it. And photoshoping the same pictures doesn't make them interesting. It just makes you that much of a bigger tool for wasting time. Same deal with digging through your picture files for old pictures of you wakeboarding. A good rule of thumb is that if it's been a week since you took the picture or if it wasn't digital had it developed then don't bother with it.

If you keep posting the same goddamn picture I'm going to call it spam and keep handing out infractions until you get banned. Because as tired as I am of your ****ty pictures I'm even more tired of everyone *****ing to you about it and you just shrugging it off like a dumbass. This isn't a goddamn flickr account. There are 2500 posts in this topic, probably 1000 of them have pictures and I'd bet a good 500 of them are by you with the same stupid grin on your face.

The pictures with your arm, while disgusting, are actually halfway decent subject matter to post. However you have no amount of credit left from the hundreds of other **** pictures. The next one you post had better impress the hell out of me or bam zoom straight to the moon.

Edit: Surprise! While I'm typing this you manage to post the exact same picture you just did except this time it's closer up. And you can't even see anything that you couldn't in the first one.

Since when did being annoying and dumb become an infraction. Simpleman's still around. Last I checked this was a photo topic. Not like they were the exact same photos. Some may find them uninteresting, and there is that Ignore option.

As it says in the topic title, only post pictures of yourself, or pictures you took. repeated failure to comply with this will result in a temporary ban from the free forum.

So anyways I'm thinking I'm following the rules of the topic...

Well I'm telling you it's spam. It's what Simpleman was banned for and it's what Dingo was banned for. You're doing it in the free forum and people are complaining. Loudly. This topic has always be subject to special circumstances. It has been closed because people have abused it in the past. And as far as I'm concerned you have abused your right. But I'm not going to ruin it for everyone because of you.

I'm through discussing it with you. Anything else needs to be put in a pm. But know that I'm not going to change my mind.

If you're in a public place but a suspicious location late at night and a cop sees you, they'll usually ask you to leave. Even if you're not breaking any laws. This is similar. There is no rule that specifically says "Do not post 500 pictures of yourself in the same pose with the say smile, day after day." But because there isn't, should you do it?

Technically you can fight it, but it's foolish to try. It's common sense. As long as no one is bothered, then it's fine. But it's irritating people. There are numerous complaints. SHFC didn't temp ban you, or give you an infraction, or anything else. He just told you what he considered your posts to let you know, although he was slightly irritated. But after the complaints, he had a little right to be.

Rules are dynamic and subject to change. Just because there is no rule saying you can't do something, doesn't mean you should push the limit to the point where they're forced to re-write them. That's the reason we have rules to begin with. Problems the general public or community has that has been figured in to avoid conflict and complaint. Have a little sense about it, and if you're ******* people off, ease up. It's a waste of your energy and their's. This is insignificant, and it will cease the irritation of a lot of people if you stop.

Pick your battles well. Try not to focus too much on the little ones; save yourself for the important ones.

No it's ok Smurvis. I had put that in before I moved these to another topic. This one is specifically for discussion so that the photo topic doesn't get cluttered. As far as I'm concerned however, the discussion is over until Valk and Mora have a chance to voice their opinion.

I don't get it. When you post a picture of yourself you're doing it for the benefit of other people, not for yourself, you know what you look like. So when all of the other people think that it's more than enough, why keep doing it?

Even if you are making a unique statement with each photo of you pulling the same face, they're statements we're not seeing so the whole act is pointless.

Bah, there are other things about nash that are more interesting... like HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET THE SAME EXACT GRIN ON YOUR FACE EVERY FREAKING DAY!? That's the kind of question that requires heavy scientific research. At least we'd know there's a DEFINITE answer to that question. Stupid scientific method.

I'm not peeved about the pics really. But it'd be cool if we could organize all the pics for everybody, so no one would have to search through 20+ pages just to find one. Wishful thinking I suppose.
