unless you already own it for the snes, or don't own a wii, you have to get this. if you don't have any interest in this game, you might as well just give up video games, because you have no right playing them anymore.

It's not that I don't have an interest in it it's just that I can't get excited about a game that I've played a million times before. Yeah I'll probably get it and yeah it'll still be a blast to play but let's not overexaggerate. Super Metroid aint no sliced bread.

Super Metroid is my favorite game of all time. I wish they were adding something to this release, though, since I already own the SNES version.

(Edit: On second thought, this won't be taken as the sarcasm I intended, and I'd rather point this out than wait for the neg rep bomb to blow away all my goblis.

Quite frankly, the game is a stepping stone for countless video games, and even if it's not on my top five list of personal favorites, I still love it and can't help but respect what it accomplished for it's time and for future games to follow. I'd go on, but you can google "Super Metroid" and find anything else I had to say about it, echoed by players everywhere else. No sense in rehasing what everyone knows.)

The SNES is my favorite system, and Super Metroid is probably the best game on it. It won't make you **** your pants but nothing does anymore. It's just a really solid game.

And I think it's aged the best of any SNES game I can remember.

I did a low % run on this game a couple years ago. Ridley took literally over a month of failed attempts until I finally beat him.

OH SNAP!

SM was one of the most solid games ever for the SNES and a great addition to an already awesome classic library. You know the big N's trying to tide us over until they eventually release SSBB on NEW YEARS.
