Does a key automatically dissappears when used?

Hello again. I have a question. It's nopt that I'm lazy to playtest my game, it's that its already quite long and I'll playtest at the end. So my question is: when a key is used to open a dungeon, does it dissappear, or do I have to set an event for that to happen?
    Thanks

The treasure item "key" will be in your inventory (even after using it to unlock a door) unless you remove it with some sort of event code. However, be careful, because when you leave and re-enter a dungeon, you'll need to have that key to unlock that door again, I believe.

Also, it's a good idea to playtest your game gradually as you progress, because if one thing is screwed up near the beginning, the entire rest of the game might be messed up, and you really don't want to find that out after you thought you were "done."

I thought the unlocked door remained unlocked for the rest of the game... anyway, thanks for the answer and the advice.
