How do you unlock dungeons?

Hi again. Another question. There is a dungeon in the field that I want it to be accessible only after I talk to a certain person. Is there a way?

you have to put a locked door in the dungeon, then make the player spawn behind it. then make that certain character give you a key, call it "dungeon key" or something. that is the only way i think. i dont think you can lock dungeons like you can towns

There is another way. You could put a fence (Make sure to make it a section of the fence an event) around your dungeon. Then set it up so that when you talk to the character you could have him say something about removing the fence and set it up so a section of the fence disappears. It will take some work. I believe it invovles switching modes. It has been a while since I'll played this game, but if you have the guide just look up modes and that should explain how to do it.

If you don't, I have a copy of the guide and I can look it up for you.
