    Who's a bigger genius?

I won't claim to know ANYTHING about quantum physics and the like, but possibly would like to know more.

So I throw this question out to anyone who has an opinion on the subject....who's a bigger genius, Einstein or Hawking?

Or if there's someone else you think who deserves the title more, please feel free to list him (or her) and explain your reasoning.

After reading a recent thread, I guess I'm guilty of making stupid nonsense (or vanity, in the words of Magus) threads, so I thought I'd make one to incite serious discussion for once.

Unless you think this one is stupid, too...

I'd say Einstein, as he was more multifaceted in his thinking than Hawking. Seriously, how many different things can you attribute to Einstein? All I know that Hawking himself has done is Hawking radiation. Not to undermine his intelligence, mind you. Perhaps Einstein merely existed at a more critical epoch in physics.

I don't think there's anyway to compare genius. First, genius isn't really quantifiable in such a direct way. You have IQ, but that's debateable and they change the standards all the time. Then there's the fact they come from two different time periods. I mean, Hawking already has Einstein's theories to draw from. Who's to know what Einstein would be coming up with if Hawking had come first. So I guess my answer is that once you reach a certain level of genius they're just off the scale and there's telling which would be "more" than another.

Einstein, like Sejon said, hasn't really done much that was all that notable esspecially compared to Einstein.

I THINK EINSTEIN IS SOLID SNAKE and HAWKING IS SAM FISHER

that is a very difficult question to ask. how can you measure a genius, i think theirs a famous quote to such.

my opinion would have to go with einstein because of his epoch creating research, his notoriety, his many theories and the depth of his research.

all genius' or atleast most contribute greatly to the world. without these people our advancement would not have leaped so far as it has. do not forget that each genius born will have greater access to information and data as well as the research of all others before. how then can you measure when the scale changes from one decade to the next?

This is like asking who would win in a fight between Van Damme and Seagal. Sadly, we'll never know.

i know it says genius but i keep seeing "penis"

i think i have penis on the brain tonight or something

                i should go to sleep

penises aren't even really that funny

oh and i think Einstein would have the bigger penis because hawking's is always flaccid

actually i wonder if he gets random erections and doesn't even know, like morning wood

                probably not

                but that would be funny

                steven hawking with an erection
