I never saw the original, but I did see the 80's version and remember loving it. A classic film.

If they are going to blantly rip off the movie, then why not added "Body Snatchers" at the end of the title?

I watch the 70's version and really liked it, so I hope they don't mess this one up but they probably will.

I haven't seent he 70s version yet though it's got Donald Sutherland right? That's cool.

The original 50s version is absolutely classic. It could be interpreted as hamfisted political commentary (the Commies are coming!!) or it's just simply about the loss of individuality or the fear that you don't really know who your friends and loved ones are. Precursor to the zombie flick and all that.

I look forward to see how this new version does it.
