View Full Version : How are we going to handle the merge?

Remember, it's on Sunday. 5 Keke and 5 Lawla players all stuck on one tribe, and whichever side wins the first vote will get the majority and probably go on to dominate.

It'll be important for the five Keke members to stick together, and I don't think we can expect a Lawla member to defect, so we'll need to think of a way we can take that first vote and knock out a Lawla member.

Any ideas?

It depends on how smart they can be in this kind of game. I seriously doubt this will work but I say it anyway cause it's plain fun. Send a PM to all of our members and one of theirs. For examples sake lets use Alt. We then mention that because a different member of Lawla-Lawla defected (for example again, Dreamy) we have the numerical advantage. However, we "by mistake" sent it to Alt instead of Dreamy. If confronted, Dreamy will say he knows nothing about what Alt is saying...cause he doesn't. Alt will vote for Dreamy in anger...as will all of us. XD
Again, it probably won't work, just saying it cause it's fun.

I don't know. I think our best shot is probably going to end up being finding someone in their tribe that has the same number of votes as me or Ryner and hope we don't get screwed by the coinflip. Other than that I think our best shot is to try to get one of their members to flip outright and not some kind of misdirection.

I'm just curious as to how united they are right now. They haven't been unaimous in their voting but so far no one person has more than one vote. Now I do have access to the Lawla forum...

What if somebody who isn't me or IRC made a post in the general survivor forum that said something like "Hey Lawla, there's a five-man alliance in your tribe, and one of you isn't included. You know who you are, and you're about to be voted of. If you want to strike back against the people who chose not to include you, place a vote against Owl, Alto, or Dreamknight."

If it works, it'll give one of them two votes, and as long as IRC and I don't get any votes at the next elimination, they'll be a tie.

Huh? Why are we doing stuff like that pre-merge?

Ryner

IRC and I have two votes against us.
Owl, Alto, and DK have one.
We're about to merge into one tribe.
In the event of a tie, the player with the most previous votes against him gets eliminated.

Follow?

Ohhh I see. You're setting up safties in case the lawla alliance sticks together fully. gotcha.

Since we have no reason to believe otherwise, I'm going to assume Lawla will be sticking together.

Aren't we supposed to be voting tonight?

Edit: Well I guess not without immunities first. But I thought we were doing something tonight.

They have had more splinters then us...but thats a good idea still. I wouldn't discount the possibility of a lack of unity though. They've splintered a lot recently and a lucky immunity could send it all to hell.
@ cow: tonight was just maijo arriving. Thats why you remember friday.

Are you sure?

I vote for Hito just in case you're wrong. :jack1

They've splintered a lot recently

How so? There were four votes against Funk, and five against Rick, and neither one of those guys is an easy vote out like Simple was for us. There's an obvious alliance on their side, and you can bet they'll stay that way at the merge.

Sorry to interject guys:

Tonight I got home from vacation. Will be back for months now.

Tomorrow are the two random Immunities.

Sunday will be the vote offs.

Keep planning. You don't have much time left.

So does anyone want to go through with my suggestion? I'd prefer if it wasn't me or IRC, just to make it seem .01 percent less obvious.

They're trying to make us think Gray is the one on the outside, but I don't buy it.

Hito! Make another post saying how Lawla is trying to make everyone think Gray is the one on the outside, but it's obviously someone else. And that someone else can ensure he isn't eliminated in vain by voting for Alto, Owl, or DK. Afterall, even if he isn't eliminated, no one will ever know he voted that way, so either way he wins.

Mightn't it have worked better to get somebody who's not in either tribe to do it?

hitogoroshi

Nah, cause if they manage to stay in they'll be MUCH more recepetive to joining us when we merge.

Ryner

If we're lucky we'll stir up some distrust within Lawla.

Remember, if any of us gets contacted by Lawla, don't listen to them. They might try the same tricks we're up to, but we've got to trust each other to have a chance.

Ryner

Be careful, Hito. We want anyone to think they could be the odd man out. It could still be DK or Alto or Owl.

Thats what I was saying in the PM tho }:3
I don't wanna just bring it up, but if a good chance comes up I'll bring up the chance of that. Maybe when we finally hear whos immune.

Ryner

Oh, I thought you meant a seperate scheme.

haha, no. whoops. Well I'm sure when we hear immunities I can find a way to bring it up.

Remember, if any of us gets contacted by Lawla, don't listen to them.

I already bought two magazine subscriptions from them. :(

You fool! Now they've got your address!

IRC
08-04-2007, 06:58 PM
Nah it's cool. They said that if I just gave them my bank account number they wouldn't even need my address. How convienent is that!
