    Stupid game glitch.

    So I'm playing Psychonauts, just finished the Milkman Conspiracy, right? I'm in the theater just toodling around and discover that my Cobweb Duster has mysteriously vanished.

    I then discover that this is a common glitch. The thing is that this is the first major console glitch I've ever seen, and it's a major annoying one. The Duster is like 800 arrowheads and I've got only 76 on-hand. I can't proceed without it, and the deep arrowheads that are supposed to be used to buy it are only finite, and I already found nearly all of them.

    Now I have to go back and load from an earlier save, because I forgot to save after the Milkman episode, and I was stupid and left the Theater level, meaning the game auto-saved after the Duster is gone.



    ARRRRGH!

    Anyone else have any glitch stories?

    Way back in the day, I played the SNES Ren & Stimpy Time Warp game. Quite a few levels in, Ren ended up disappearing off-screen and Stimpy was walking back and forth whilst the screen was shifting around. I had to reset.

      Once in Valkyrie Profile I fell off the screen, I tried jumping back up but was literally stuck on the edge of the screen. It was annoying because I had gone a long way without saving.

        I mentioned Altered Beast for the MS in another topic, and here it is again.

        The first time I reached the last boss, it took me a while to figure out his pattern and how I should attack. Once I got it, I did some attack that knocked him off the screen. I was stuck there with no last boss and no place to go.

        Thanks for ruining my childhood, SEGA.

          I've got a similar story. While playing Sonic 2 and I got to the final boss. I beat him, then I couldn't do ANYTHING. The screen was frozen in place and I was just stuck there.

          Then the timer ran out. And nothing happened.

          I remember we even called the hint-line asking what was going on or what we needed to do (my brother was watching me play). How niave we once were. To think that it was part of the game, and not just a stupid glitch.

            Doesnt the DS bubble bobble have a 100% occuring glitch where no enemies spawn in the level, including no boss and you cant continue.

              The TV station in Persona 2. I went to every door in every combination. It took about four hours, and nothing happened.
