I do great when it comes to pitching, but holy mother ******* christ, it's hard as hell to hit the ball when I'm up at bat. Timing is so quick in that game. 
I still like the game though, even though i'm not a sports guy.
It even has a couple of mini games and I think it's good to practice batting. Home Run Pinball has you in times square, and you have to keep making hits so the ball bounces off of buildings and cars and adds up the points for each thing it hits like pinball.
Not a whole lot of options when creating a rookie. But it's fine, apparently you get more options as you play.
