    Viva Piņata DS

People have been saying since day one that Viva Piñata didn't really fit the 360's demographics and Rare apparently agrees. That and they want in on that money printing action. Since they announced this shortly after the minigame fest Party Animal I figured it'd be that but it's a port of the original. And not a scaled back port, it's actually got more features.

    -New piñatas
    -Upgraded Journal and Encyclopedia
    -Sandbox mode
-Episodes mode that ties in with the TV series

You can still trade piñatas over WiFi and touch screen controls ought to be an improvement. Another game to add to my DS get list.

I'm actually very surprised that Rare is still porting some games to the DS despite Microsoft's ownership of that company. Even Donkey Kong's current design is still being used by Nintendo since Donkey Kong Country.

As for Viva Pinata hitting the DS, this should work very well with its theme of gardening. I played the demo of it just today and it reminds me like Harvest Moon.....with big pinatas.

I'd buy this....if I don't buy a 360 and Viva Pinata on there first. (Sue me, I don't want to read Terr's topic on making funky characters right now to find out how to make a tilde).

Ha. Yeah, I had to check to topic. ñ is Alt-164. I just did it once and copy-pasted the rest.
