The man just doesn't know when to give up!

I thought Star Wars was already bastardized enough as it is, but I guess I was wrong.

I think it's gone from being a creative vision to being a cash cow in his eyes.

"You know we're doing a pilot television series now called Clone Wars," said Lucas. "Well we're going to take that and turn it into a 3-D animated version full series."
'Cause that makes it that much easier, now, doesn't it?

Expect Episodes 7, 8, 9 and possibly a few up to episode 20 after Lucas is long gone..
It'll become like the Simpsons.. When you try to make an original sci fi story, someone will come up and shout: "Star Wars already did it!"

I like star trek AND star wars!

              DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM~!

And Lucas has been a big fat sell-out for as long as I can remember. But I still really dig the first trilogy, and I want to see the new film.

Also, who isn't a sell out these days? Everyone sells out as soon as they sell their idea.

Call me crazy, but I really doubt money is a real motivation for Lucas anymore. The guy is richer than Jesus. There really isn't anything in the world that he can't buy, except maybe his own country or a life-size Death Star. If the guy wants to further his interest into his own creation, who cares? I just hope that they would hurry up with the next Indiana Jones movie before Harrison Ford needs a wheel chair to accompany his whip and fedora.

I'll stick with the original trilogy, than-you-very-much.

I'm all for more Jedi action but... 3D? Meh.

Tartakovsky did wonders, I hope he's still involved.

If this sucks, then I will have totally lost faith in Star Wars.

But you have a far sooner chance to lose your faith in Star Wars next month.

Heck, you had a bunch of chances.

Screw that. We need Mel Gibson for a Mad Max: Fury Road. He's already pretty old.
