Question about the battle system

Is the battle system supposed to be just pictures of characters with animations appearing on the enemie's body when you hit it?

Yes it is. But there are ways to edit the pictures to make them more interesting. Plus there is a lot of different animations to choose from or you can make your own.

Alright I have another question, if you don't mind. I downloaded a cbs, but I don't know how to install it on to my game. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the script editor, right click the area for script selection, select new script, and now put the downloaded script into it.

Well, it's an .exe file extension. So when I click open, it asks me where I want to install it. So I go to my game, but the only options are audio, graphics, or data.

Unless it's an EXE that installs .max - someone messed up.

I figured out that it was actually a demo game for the battle system. I got the script in my game, but when I playtest it on an enemy, it says Unable to find file Graphics/Battlers/Ghost.
