Guess what I get to sing for my Grandfather's memorial/funeral? I volenteered, almost thinking that my grandmother would say no, but she said yes without hesitation and wants me to sing Amazing Grace. So, does anyone know how to sing emotion into a religious song when you are anti-religion?

Sorry to hear of your grandfather's passing.

But for the song, I don't think it matters too much how you sing it. Either softly, or with a loud powerful voice, I can't imagine it being anything else.

I do have a wav file of it, but I don't know how to share. I forgot any sites to upload it to. I think mostly I'd like someone to give me some hints and tips. I dunno, I'm nervous about it, and I just don't know if I can do the song justice

simply think about your grandfather rather than god when singing it. that should put all the emotion you need into it.

simply think about your grandfather rather than god when singing it. that should put all the emotion you need into it.
