It does look very much like Silent Hill, just without all the fog.
I like the "Keep our City Clean" logo on the trash can.

Awesome! :thumbs
Sure it says "Keep our City Clean," but it doesn't say anything about keeping it free of ravenous sniffer dogs. :D

To think, Silent Hill was right in our own backyard.
This movie has me psyched. I can't wait!

And you live in Tex-ASS. How's that for scenic? Brown haze as far as the eye can see!

Actually, Austin is fairly green, cause it's full of hippies. Also, west Tex-ass and parts of the hill country are very beautiful. The land I go out to in Llano is f*cking gorgeous, though.
Here's a photo I took of an old creek that runs through a neighborhood close to mine. I'd say it's fairly scenic for your average neighborhood in a big city.
Off topic fun. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Nixon/hidden2.jpg)

Wow. That's a lot better than I expected, considering former governor Bush royally ****ed your state up.

Guess you can't really say much until you see it, eh?

I talked to a fellow SH fan this morning and was given these links:
Tons of pics of the Downtown Core in Brantford, Ontario. (http://www.supercrazymayhem.com/brantford/)
I can't believe how perfectly Silent Hillish this town is! And it's in Canada. How exciting. <3
More SH set pictures. (http://www.horror-movies.ca/gallery27.htm)
yeah there's really only one area of texas that has serious haze and air pollution problems. and it always has. bush has nothing to do with it. but it blew up recently, so there you go.
i mean...yeah, damn fog haze choking every square inch of our state right up the it's borders(where it mysteriously stops)! you can't even imagine how hard it is to ride to work when your horse has to stop every ten feet to catch it's breath! consarnit!

Yeah, my horses would be so ****ed.
And Fushigi, awesome links. I can't get the second link's pictures to work, but the first one is good enough.
You see onions. Will you pick them up?

Aww. I live all the way in Alberta (west), so I can't go to Brantford (east). :(
Oh well. I'm still psyched about the movie! That town was just MADE to be Silent Hill. :D
