I got a PS3 a couple days ago and I'm wondering how converting the virtual memory card (VMC) files into Dex Drive and Max Drive files works.
I still have my PS2 and the max drive disk, so I can still make games for .max and convert them into VMC files without a problem, though I think I may prefer to make them as VMC files originally, since there's a lot less system swapping involved if I decide to play some Untold Legends or Resistance between RPGM3 sessions (Not a big problem, though). Plus I can label and relabel VMC files relatively easily.
Regarding dex drive files, is it possible to make the conversion with just the Dex Drive software, or is the hardware needed as well?
