    Arc Arath for RPG Maker 1

    It’s finally out, guys. After ten very long years of work and fighting the harsh and unforgiving limitations of RPG Maker 1, Arc Arath is done. I want to thank SarahsKnight for putting up with me all this time and I’m super grateful that he has. It was a long and winding road, but it is finished. The game and this thread went live at Magcon 2015 and you can watch it yourself below. (Those that attended got a special edition physical copy of the game, which I go over in detail in the video.)

    Anyways, the game is out, hit up the Arc Arath game page and download it. And please, if I could ask, come back to this thread and let me know about your progress, your thoughts, or any bugs you might find. SK and I busted our asses to get this game to be a reality and we’d love to hear your comments, questions, or concerns. If there are any bugs or glitches, I’ll patch them immediately and upload the patched version. And for those of you who will be playing, thanks. It means so much to us.

    For more information, you can check the studio I have over at RPG Maker Magazine:
    L&E Productions studio for Arc Arath.

    If you are curious why this thread is so old, checking Google, this thread is the first result when searching 'Arc Arath', so while this was originally created for an extremely outdated video I made for the game back on 2007, I'm repurposing it to be for Arc Arath and it's release.

    Wow. That's beautiful! I really liked the music. What song was that? Were the large (Anime) portraits edited in? I really enjoyed watching this. Yet another reason to wish that I hadn't lost my copy of RPGM1...
    Final Exams are not a good time to attempt to get back into a site. ^_^;

      The song was Owarinai Yume by Nanase Aikawa. The portraits were in fact edited in... I had someone commissioned to make them for me, I've sinced made quite a few images and used them in the vid as you've seen.

      Anyway, thanks... I'm not quite yet confident in my video editing ability (or lack there of). ^_^

        You did a very good job with the video. It was somewhat confusing as to what the story is about, from just viewing the video.

        But the editing was well done and so was the music.

          I think I'll give you a little boost by linking to Mag Issue 4.1, which had your game featured as the cover story.

          (Yes, I know you know your game was a cover story. I'm just saying so other people hear about it.)
          "What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

            To me, it had that light-hearted sense. Maybe due to the music.
            Oh well. It's still pretty good.
