    What's your favorite genre of RPG?

    Answer the poll and discuss!

    I'm purposely not including strat-rpgs, because that's a whole different genre.

    The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

            Real-time with turn based rule sets, ie KOTOR/Baldur's gate.

              I like action RPGs where everything is in real time. Button mashing has always been fun for me. It's why Secret of Mana is so appealing.

              Then again, turn based isn't bad either. I like strategizing first before a fight, too. But my preference is geared a little more towards real-time.

                  I haven't found a real-time action RPG yet that I like, though I haven't tried many. I havne't played any strat-RPGs at all though.

                      Action/fighting, I loved the Tales games. I like having a sense of control. Even in rpg's.

                        I don't get why you'd call something like X-Men Legends an RPG but not Final Fantays Tactics.

                        And everyone knows the only real RPG is a turn-based rpg. Everything else is just a game!
