I've seen it. It's a great movie. I wish I would have been old enough to watch the alternate endings at three different theaters.

Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Spaceballs. I'm a sucker for parody/satire.

It's been YEARS since I've seen that one. I remember it being good. Almost made me want to do pot. ALMOST.

Never seen. But anything Chuck ******-related is usually gold.

Seen both. I prefer Spaceballs, but a braille Playboy makes for a close second.

I did a quick edit after formulating in my head the criteria by which I evaluate comedy.

But the list is mostly unchanged.

Re: Greatest comedy movies of all time?

I mostly like black comedies, so In the Company of Men is high on my list.

For straightforward comedies, I'm partial to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Three Amigos. Comedies are not my forte, though. Most of what passes as comedy these days, of the little I've seen, barely elicits a smile out of me.

                    *shrug*

EDIT:Also, rep went to Funk for A Fish Called Wanda, Dr. Strangelove, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and The Princess Bride.

What the hell Funk? What the hell?

The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

                          1. Spaceballs
(You seen it? Funny as hell! Star War spoof has never been funnier.)

                          2. Young Frankenstein
Gene Wilder is a comedic talent.

                          3. Blazing Saddles
There's a pattern here....Mel Brooks makes good comedic films!

                          4. The Waterboy
One of the funniest Adam Sandler flicks I've seen in a long while. Definately a hilarious take on the underdog story.

                          5. Drunken Master (SP?)
Don't know if this is correct title, but it was an old Jackie Chan Kung Fu flick which I thought was very funny.

                            Wallace And Gromit.

Not the movie, but the 3 episodes.
                            ...and that's why.
