I'm looking for a good site to download audio books from, in particular The Path of Daggers by Robert Jordan. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any sites they've had luck with before.

Re: Audio Book Downloads
Before I post an answer, are we allowed to post about downloading torrents of copyrighted material or does that fall under the same rules as emulators and roms?
EDIT: I just went ahead and PM'd him. But I still want to know if posting about torrents is allowed. But like RD said if he's owns the book it's totally legal so in that case he's welcome to it. Then again does it work that way since a printed book is technically a different item from a audio book? Meh, me kunfoozy.Last edited by DarkwingChuck; 07-15-2007, 01:26 AM.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!

Re: Audio Book Downloads
There's actually a good reason for it. My mom's boyfriend has a Zen Nano, and drives a lot, so he hooks it up, and listens to books. He has gotten every book from the Wheel of Time on disc from the library, and copied them. The eighth book is unobtainable from libraries, because it was done by a different company.
He wants the whole thing saved to our computer is the end result, and that book is the only one we don't have.

Re: Audio Book Downloads
I have a subscription to Audible.com. It's 30$ a month for two books every month. They have a large libary and I've never regretted signing up with them.
I don't know if they have Robert Jordan on there. If there is an audio profuction of his books though, I bet they have them.
A word of warning: Don't get abridged versions. They totaly suck.
