Does the RPG maker really support USB keyboards?

I remember a while ago that I read somewhere that it supports USB keyboards, for faster typing. I would like to know if this is true or not, so I could get one. Typing with the controller is too hard D<

It does support USB keyboards. I use RMXP though. It's more pleasing to me, though. But yes, that should answer your question.

EDIT: Actually RPG Maker 2 and 3 support the USB Keyboard, but RPG Maker 1 does not.
