I'm in the same general area Funk is. yeah, its goddamn awful. its 10:30 PM, and its STILL hot as hell.

add to that, I cant play any video games or use the computer while the air conditioner runs, because the air conditioner sucks up too much power. gah, tis hell!

Today and yesterday it was 105 in direct sunlight, ~95 in the shade. I've been sweating buckets.

It poured rain for 15 minutes at around 4:00, just after the hottest part of the day. But the rain didn't do anything but make the ground wet.

At least there was a nice stiff breeze today. It actually felt nice this morning when I was on top of the tower.

Even with central air my room is still hot as hell pretty much all day. I guess it's my computer but it doesn't get that hot, but I guess the combination of my computer and 100W light bulb keep it around 80 degrees in my room while it's like 73 everywhere else in the apartment. So I keep a fan on all day as well.
