    So Starmen.net published a book

It's called the Earthbound Anthology. It's full of art and music and fan videos and it's really slick/ Unfortunetly it's not for sale (I hope that it will be soon) and the only copies are going out to media sources to drum up interest in the VC release of Earthbound.

So I was looking through the pictures of it and look what I found:

I wouldn't think they could sell it since, it would seem they didn't ask for permission to post those pictures.

It's pretty cool that they think it's worth publishing, but they shouldn't be using your work without your permission.

I imagine that's awesome and irritating at the same time.
"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

Reminds me of when G4 found Serge's mock up of a console (I forget which one now) for on of their shows. I was all, "Oh snap!" And then I posted on the Pav.

That is awesome considering that Earthbound IS one of your favorite games and all. But taking it without asking for permission or anything...?

Well, I suppouse it is Fan Art, and you are just drawing something that they made originally. But they just took it and put in in their book like you wouldn't notice or anything like that. Bastards.

You should probably consider contacting them about this, regardless of whether or not anything may come of it.
