    Lucky me.

My best used game purchase EVAR:

No, I didn't buy the case for $30. I saw it at Game Crazy the other day and just stopped. So freakin' glad I snatched it up, the cashier said she wanted to buy it too. Well she had a chance... It is a great, great game. I don't think I want to sell it.
    In comparison...

So post your luckiest game purchase ever.

        Valkyrie Profile is teh AWESOME.

I have no pictures, but my luckiest game purchase was not even a purchase.

A friend GAVE me Suikoden... for FREE. He wasn't the RPG playing type and he got a bunch of games given to him when he got a Playstation.

The one time I got to play Suikoden, the disc froze up just when the game was starting to get crazygonuts.

And you may kill me, but then I'll go to Valhalla, *****.

When I bought WoW, it came without any CDs so I went in to exchange it. But the copy I got back was the one that included the 90 day card.

Haha...I did that same thing: bought Valkyrie Profile for $29.99. It was a year and half ago and at EB, though.
I still randomly say "To my side, my noble Einherjar!" and "Come to me dark warriors, battle awaits us!" to entertain my brother who used to watch me play it.

In middle school (what, 7 years ago?) I bought the SNES Chrono Trigger for $5 from an idiot. BAM!

Very-fine condition copies of Persona 1 for $12.99 and Persona 2 for $14.99 at Funcoland about 2 years ago was pretty rockin', too.

I wish I had that luck. I haven't been able to find any good old PS1 games for a while now.

                      Re: Lucky me.

My SNES copy of FF6 I got a couple months back came with the box, the cardboard game pak holder that keeps the thing from rattling around inside the box, and the instruction booklet. $40, which I don't think was too bad.
EDIT: I stand corrected. *looks at Yes Man*

I just scored a copy of Dragon Warrior IV for $30. It hasn't come in yet, but here's hoping it'll come tomorrow.

I got an Atari 2600, Sega Master System, and Sega Genesis as a hand-me-down. After getting those, I went and picked up Phantasy Star IV for somewhere between $15-30 (can't remember for certain).

I once got Zelda II and TMNT on NES for $10. Dunno if that's lucky or not, but it was nice for me.

And I own a Final Fantasy II edition WonderSwan Color, that I got one Christmas. Which is hardly impressive for some I would assume, but it was pretty nice for me.

My luckiest purchase was Suikoden II at Toys 'R Us. It was the last one in the store and it was only $29.99.

Luckiest was Suikoden II for $50. But I got Valkyrie Profile for $20 new at an electronics/book store that I used to live near. They also had Tron Bonne for the same price. I never finished either.

                              Tron Bonne!!

I really wish Capcom would continue with the Legends series. It was actually my favorite...
