Too bad it's a one week sale. I might actually consider getting a PS3 at that price. Maybe. But I won't have any money to buy anything until October.

But since there are more 360 games I want and MS will probably drop their price in response I'll probably still go with a 360. $100 drop would put the premium almost down to Wii's price.

It's good that prices are now dropping. They're getting to be more affordable.

I have ways of confirming just about anything PS3 related when rumors come out, and while i havent been able to 100% confirm it yet (waiting on my response), i'll 99.99999999% guarantee that it is true.

Sony Corp prez Ryoji Chubachi says there are "no immediate plans as of now" for a price drop. This is the same guy who's said in June that they weren't "ruling out" a price drop and in April that they were "re-examining" the PS3's price. So is this change of tune an attempt to put the cat back in the bag until E3 or is this semi-confirmed price drop really just a rumor? I'm betting on the first one.
