I got side swiped.

I'm driving my work truck back to the office since it's the end of the day. On the freeway I was on, there's only two lanes. I was in the left lane. No one was ahead of me, but I kept a speed between 65-70mph. The lane to my right was driving a lot slower because there was a large diesel truck in front of everyone.

The guy that was directly behind that truck decided to change lanes so he could go around it. But I didn't see him signal. Right as I was pulling up next to him, then he turned right into me. Must have been in a blind spot, cuz he admitted that he didn't even see me.

My truck just had black and blue scratches on the passenger door, while his little toyota had a dent in his door, scratches, and his side mirror was busted so it was just hanging by a small section. Neither of us were hurt, though. We exchanged info, and I went back to my work office and let my supervisor know, and gave him the guy's info. So now the claims office at my work will have to look into it and take care of everything.


Then I got home I saw that Richard from Rammstein (lead guitar and back up vocal) is finally releasing his side project album, Emigrate. I was excited about that.

At least it wasn't your fault, and you weren't injured.

As for me, I walked about 5 miles today. Traffic here is so insane that I don't miss driving a car around.

I got into a car accident last June, and I'm still ******. However, I agree with Jeroak here as well.

I've had some close calls while driving myself, and even got a fender bender. Though minor, those still aren't fun.

I was driving a bit in Pennsylvania. Apparently in PA you don't drive on your side of the road until you have to.

At least you don't have to deal with the insurance bull ****!

Yeah you gotta watch out for those fools on the road. There's way too many people that drive in a hurry nowadays. It's not uncommon to see many people driving at least 80 on the Freeways. Glad you're safe dude.

This is why I drive as if no one can actually see me. Because sometimes, they really aren't looking.

Driving will be especially dangerous when the sports car is finished as many SUVs/minivans won't see it. You'd basically have to drive it as you would a very fast motorcycle...
