    The "Ratatouille" Thread

    Pixar, Pixar, Pixar...

You have talent that I wish was edible,
You've blessed me with Toy Story, Cars and The Incredibles
If your gift has not waned, I'd find it groovy,
That 12 hours from now, I will see your NEXT movie.

This is the one movie this summer I'm excited for. Looks to be Pixar's best, and I'm thinking it will be my favorite movie of the year.

I think I'm just CGI animation burned out right now. This movie doesn't look interesting to me in the least.

        It's Pixar, man.

It's the one CGI thing that's guaranteed to at least be worth a look. FOR ONCE.

Moviephone guy seemed to really enjoy it. It is getting a lot of positive comments.

          I plan on seeing it.

Man... if there weren't so many of these types of movies out. Thing is, it looks cool and has gotten some really great reviews. Most likely I'll be going to see it during my er..."vacation", but even so... in my mindset I'm thinking "not another one".

But yeah... I think this one is worth seeing.

I personally would like to give this movie a big "meh!" Because that's what comes to mind when I see anything for it. Not really interested in it. I might see it once it comes out on DVD, though.

Agreed. My brother and I saw it today, and it was a 10. Pixar is a genius.

They're coming out with a new movie in summer 2008 called "Wall-E."

I saw it today, and is was amazing. A very heartwarming story with a real sense of cooking created within its world. It felt like you could taste the food you saw on the screen.

The detail was fantastic and the funny moments never stopped. Even the small short at the beginning was great.

I defintally recomend this movie to everyone. I'd say it even tops Monster Inc. in some ways.

I'm going to a J Lacroix here, sorry.

Even though this movie is getting great reviews and I'm sure everyone loves it, I have no interest in it. The last Pixar movie I saw was Toy Story 2. I saw like 15 minutes of Cars and a few minutes of Nemo, but they just bored me to tears.

I think most movies start off that way.. or at least movies targeted at children. Or were those fifteen minutes you saw just kind of randomly placed in the movies?

I'll see this movie, but not in theatres. Way too much other movies I could be spending my money on at the time. Silver Surfer, Harry Potter, Transformers, Ocean's 13, Chuck and Larry (I'm such a huge Adam Sandler fan), and the Simpsons Movie.

                              Or Chrono has no heart.....

I can't believe Nemo bored you to tears. Was the sight of his mother being killed boring?
