Kaz Hirai just promised 380 games released for the PS3 by next march. yes, in nine months. 200 will be boxed, the rest download. thats around 40 games a month. so not happening.

sure, they COULD do it, but around 270 of those games won't be worth playing for any price.

They could find some loophole, like 200+ of those games be re-releases, like a titanium PS3 compatible collection or something.

Valk, that article is not clear as to wether he was talking about a total of 380 games, or 380 new games.

Might want to make that clear in your post. Even Kotaku mentions it.

God I hate Kotaku's halfass attempt at journalism. The Reuters article they talk about says he meant 380 games would be released in the current business year. Couldn't find the actual Nikkei article without paying for it.
