Has The Wii Lost it's Luster?

I've had the Wii now since January and it seems like ever since then it's popularity for myself and others is slowly declining...

To tell the truth, I haven't even played with mine for almost two or so months now. And I haven't really had any interest in any of the games, and the only game I'm really looking forward to is Smash Bros. and Galaxy.

Is it just me? Or is the Wii losing steam?

It hasn't been out long. You just have to wait. I mean the XBox is just now getting around to recieving better games.

Look at PS3. Pretty much nothing that isn't a port minus a few exceptions.

Just going to have to wait a while.

Keep the faith. I still believe in the Wii's potential. I mean....yeah, right now, there's not too much to offer, but the Wii's only been out for a couple of months. Give it more time.

Considering I picked it up just for Mario Galaxy and Metroid 3 anything else is a bonus. But yeah I'm not looking forward to anything else.

it is WAY too early to say any system "lost it's luster". it's not even a year old. The Wii also has far more quality exclusives than the PS3 does, which has been out for the same amount of time.

Yeah, I can't name 3 exclusive games for X-Box that came out the first year, it's only now they are getting games I really want.

I'm just saying that the hype it use to have has really dried out lately.

thats how every system is in it's first year (except the dreamcast).

I dunno though Valk. Paper Mario, Brawl, Corruption, Elebits, Strikers, Pokemon . That's 6 exclusive titles right there. It's not a whole lot, but I have to admit it's better than I expected.

and if you compare that to the 360 (in it's launch year) and PS3, you'll probably see that the Wii has them both beat.

of course, I still maintain that the only game worth playing on the PS3 right now is oblivion, which isnt exclusive. if that game wasnt out, I wouldnt play my PS3 at all. of course, thats just my tastes.

Let's just hope it doesn't go the same way as the GameCube...

Don't have to worry about that. developers (and BIG ones like EA) are actually sheliving PS3 and 360 projects to focus on the Wii.

Having better crap than the other companies isn't that great.

I'll just stay with the 360, until PS3 or Wii prove something to me.
