Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Another sequel that's been panned by the critics, but that's not stopping me from seeing it tomorrow *coughJessicaAlbacough*

I could have sworn the first of these was PG-13: http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=fantasticfour.htm

Why in the hell is the second one only rated PG? I dread that Alba won't strip.

Dude, why not just watch the terrible Alba movies were she's in tight-fitting clothes that WON'T give her box office clout? Sheesh.

You mean like "Blue Crush" and "Sin City" right? *mouth waters*

*ahem* Mora, it's the principle of the thing. Alba's birthday suit...is kind of expected.

          Also, Honey.

Anyway, I liked the first one. At least it was more light hearted and humorous than the other comic book movies lately. I want to see this one but I'll probably wait for the DVD like I do with most movies.

I was watching an interview on ESPN with Jessica Alba and they were asking her what her favorite teams were, and she kept name dropping. Like how she's a Yankee fan because she knows Derek (Jeter) and how cool Baron (Davis) was. It made me want to throw rocks at her for being a stupid whore, but then she tilted her head to the side and smiled and I went into a diabetic coma.

The point is you don't not see Silver Surfer because of Jessica Alba. You see it because it's the freaking Silver Surfer and you pray to god Jessica Alba doesn't ask him if he knows what happens to a toad when it get's eaten by Galactus.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I'm seeing it because the Silver Surfer looks bad-ass.

And yes, Jessica Alba, in spite of being incredibly attractive, had no place in any comic book movie she's done. She didn't work as Nancy Callahan in Sin City at all, and in my opinion she's the only one of the Fantastic Four who's miscast. The other three are spot-on, and my comic book geek of a flatmate even feels they did a pretty good job casting Doom too.

Jessica Alba has a Brain Age of 82.

I don't think 82 even exists...I recall the oldest brain age to be 80 in the game.

Anyway, the older the game rates you, the worse. The ideal age to aim for is 20, as the game's about mental sharpness and acuity, not knowledge. So the younger, the better.
