Not terribly long ago, I released a game for RPGM2 called Spheer. You can download it and get more information here. I made a similar thread on the Mag, but I want to get as much exposure for Spheer as possible. Enjoy!
Thanks for the comments, guys. To get the title screen the way I did, I just took a blank, black area, and used the VFX that looks like a firework/sparkler. I made several of those in multiple colors and just placed them, it wasn't too hard, really.
Impressive. It sometimes amazes me how a combination of simple effects can make a game look stunning. Looks pretty fun too. I'll be sure to give it a try eventually.
Actually, the whole project took around 6 months start to finish, which really isn't long at all. (Just a side note: My previous game, RAZR Burn for RPGM1 took about a month to make). The thing I'm most happy with about Spheer is that I got to really flex my creative muscles and experiment to a grand excess with a 3D space, something I hadn't been able to do before. This game is like going for a stroll inside my brain. =p
EDIT: And yeah, Karr, it could be most easily classified as a puzzle game, but it's got elements of other genres mixed in.
