That car I'm converting to electric? If you want to, pimp it out for me by modifying the image below:

http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/4886/triumphgt6today2cl5.jpg

The above was drawn to scale. Roughly 6.15 pixels for every real life inch.

It's how my car was in 2005 before I started modifying it in real life. In a few days, I will post an image of what I'm doing to its body design(most of it is functional for reducing aerodynamic drag, and not so much as aesthetic). This image I will post in a few days shows what it will look like when finished. I already have my image, but I want to see what you guys think of on your own. Feel free to make custom parts for the car, modify it in any way, shape or form. Be creative, even give it a whole new paint job, and use any program you want.

If no one feels up to it, oh well. I'm still posting the custom design of the car in a few days.

Here is the car in real life as of Summer 2005:

I would suggest a giant demon skull on the hood, with some Rob Zombie-esque demons flying off the sides and the back. The rest of the car should be black. I wish I had time to draw all that for you. :lol

I suggest a burning american flag and a marajuana leaf.

Just screams Terr.

Can't go wrong with black flames.

I don't think being anti-big government and pro-personal freedom is quite the same as being anti-American.

Do NOT put a confederate flag on that car; it will taint it.

I would add a dragon on the side of the car, because Dragons kick ass.

What about a Dragon literally kicking ass on the side of the car?

That's awesome Terr.

Burning flag isn't always anti-American. Many people use it just as a way of protest.

My goal for this weekend will be going MS Paint crazy on that car. Just wait...

I never did post that picture. Here it is:

The car in real life does not have these additions permanently installed yet. It will when I get it road legal and can finally do some tuft testing on the parts to see what has laminar flow and what has turbulent flow. The goal is a drag coefficient of 0.25 or less, although I will have no way of knowing the real number short of having access to a wind tunnel(I could estimate with coast down testing, which has a margin of error around 25%).

If I had a copy of photo shop, I could play with it some more and see what it would look like in real life once everything is put together.

P.S. I agree with Bon for once. Needs a dragon.

Are you a fan of the "cow car" on Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, by chance?

Actually...

I never saw it.

But that car gives me reason to check it out someday sooner rather than later!

It's a great project . But you can try '' Air-Engine '' I think it's better than the Electric engine because you can make more mileage than electric .

But you can try '' Air-Engine '' I think it's better than the Electric engine because you can make more mileage than electric .

False.

a) a compressed air engine isn't nearly as efficient as a series DC motor coupled with a PWM controller(AC motor/inverter is even more efficient and can make use of regen braking)
b) a compressed air tank cannot store the same amount of energy as a battery pack of similar volume, and even if it could, the efficiency of a compressed air engine is such that it would still be impractical
c) the amount of energy needed to "re-charge" a compressed air car by refilling its tank is far more than would be needed for a comparable EV
d) compressed air cars have a lack of horsepower, wheras what I have proposed and what I am working on with regard to my car will be highly performance-oriented

The only real advantage compressed air has over a BEV is that it doesn't require battery replacement, which is a significant expense, but not such a heavy expense that it will cancel the energy cost per mile advantage of operating an EV versus a gasoline car, nor would it cancel the cost per mile advantage from the lack of maintenance.

Also, while the Rasta car paint scheme was a joke, the idea has grown on me... it would be hilarious to have such a "high tech" and sexy car that was racetrack worthy sporting a paintjob like that...
