McDonald's rips off Chick-fil-A!

Yep. They have the new (at least in my area) "Southern Style Chicken Sandwich" which is: you guessed it! A CHICKEN SANDWICH WITH TWO PICKLES!

But...it tastes like **** compared to a Chick-fil-A sandwich. It has little flavor and soaks right through the bun, making it soggy and unappetizing. That's what McDonald's gets for trying to copy the perfect sandwich!

McDonald's Chicken Sandwiches are okay. Just not really as tasty as chicken sandwiches I find at other restaurants.

Oh yes....Chick-Fil-A did it first, and still does it best.

Other popular fast foods [than McDonald's] derive their flavour from unexpected sources. Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich, for example, contains beef extracts. Burger King's BK broiler chicken breast patty contains "natural smoke flavour". A firm called Red Arrow Products Company specialises in smoke flavour, which is added to barbecue sauces and processed meats.

Red Arrow manufactures natural smoke flavour by charring sawdust and capturing the aroma chemicals released into the air. The smoke is captured in water and then bottled, so that other companies can sell food that seems to have been cooked over a fire.

Uhhhh, almost any BBQ sauce out there has "liquid smoke" in it.

Unless your actually putting a sauce on meat then BBQ it to get the smoky flavour, which is how you should really BBQ, its redundant to go out and buy BBQ sauce then put it on your meat as you BBQ it on a grill.

my favoit burger of all time was the big harv, a short lived burger from harvys at the store i use to work at. was a huge slab of beef on a bun, very tasty. if anyone rips it off ill sue!

copycats sucks, they are almost always horrible.

It's the texture for me. It's just....ew. That in combination with a so-so taste makes me hate it. It's been years since I've had one though. I suppose I ought to give it a try again sometime.

The only thing I like from McDonalds right now is the McGriddle with a cup of coffee. There coffee isn't so bad, so long as I don't drink all of it to reveal the little bits of coffee bean and junk on the bottom.

McDonald's burgers have gotten thinner over the past year. And they buns have become more stale and dry too.

Not sure if it is the store or the overly Mexican workforce.

I like big macs, and I absolutely love McDonalds chicken nuggets. but only since they use white meat now.
